Orgullo Festival, Miami, Florida

During our National Hispanic Heritage Month in 2011, Miami saw the debut version of its Orgullo Hispanic and Indigenous LGBTQ Pride celebration ("Orgullo" means "pride" in Spanish), which is totally discrete from Miami's greater Pride in September. Praising its tenth release from Oct. 1-15, 2021, with a topic of "The Art of Illusion," anticipate an especially vivid, strong drag part (a yearly feature involves the crossdresser drove, boozy Art Diva Bus Tours of craftsmen studios, historical centers, exhibitions, and that's only the tip of the iceberg) in addition to "Dragalympics" roller-skate, high heel, and lip-sync contests, political discussion, music, blenders, moving, and a unique 80s pop execution.

The Dinah, Palm Springs, California

The world's generally well known (and happily defiled) lesbian party end of the week, which winnowed its name from the Dinah Shore golf competition, a lesbian magnet, traces all the way back to 1991 when Club Skirts lesbian party advertiser Mariah Hanson facilitated The Dinah's first version at Palm Springs' Modern Art Museum. Presently drawing in excess of 20,000 ladies yearly for five days of superstar amusement—Jane Lynch, the stars of Showtime's "The L Word," Tegan and Sara, and Katy Perry to give some examples main events!— moving, pool gatherings, and dyke-y wantonness (one year, Lady Gaga appeared!). Planned for Sept. 29 to Oct. 3, 2021, the following version will flaunt an Emerging Artist Contest, with an end party execution for the victor, provocative go-go artists, VIP DJs and entertainers (actually take a look at the site for refreshes!), and "The L-Word: Generation Q Pool Party." It will be lit... also wet!
