GLBT Historical Society Museum
The first historical center in the U.S. committed to strange history, this energetic San Francisco foundation offers guests an authentic secret stash of everything from indispensable ephemera (count Harvey Milk's own belongings among them) to craftsmanship, printed materials, and photographs. Try not to miss the long-lasting display, "Strange Past Becomes Present," which checks out 100 years of LGBTQ+ life in San Francisco and the country over.
The GLBT Historical Society Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. General confirmation is $10; it's suggested that guests buy their tickets ahead of time.
The Legacy Walk
The just historical center of its sort anyplace, The Legacy Walk in Chicago is an outside establishment committed to featuring world-changing individuals from the LGBTQ+ people group.
